Prototype Information

Multi-track train stations often have pedestrian facilities such as this overpass to allow safe and easy transfer between platforms without having to cross active rails on foot. Larger and newer stations come equipped with elevators for barrier-free access to platforms.

Product Information

Features:

• Snap-together assembly kit (rubber adhesive required for loose fitting parts)
• When used with other separately sold station platform products, can be installed in the hole created by removing the roof cover of the platform (urban type) or platform (modern type). In this case, it can be used in conjunction with the platform's underground escalator.
• Can also be installed at the end of a platform without a roof.
• Compatible with wide platforms at the end of the platform. In this case, the width of the staircase can be increased by 1.5 times.
• Includes a walkway long enough to span three tracks.
• Includes supports to support the walkway when it is long.
• Includes a raising part to raise the height of the platform (modern type) to match the height of the platform (urban type) when placing the platform (urban type) and platform (modern type) side by side and installing an overpass.
• Includes tactile paving blocks and transfer information for stairs, escalators and elevators.
• The aisle can be extended with the separately sold multi-aisle extension set.
• The aisle width can be widened with the separately sold multi-aisle width expansion set.
